Abbie Thorrington will be racing for 53-12 in 2007.
In 2006 Abbie was 3rd in a European Triathlon Cup race (Under
23 Female). This year he will be one to watch and will surely worry
a few very top names on the world tri scene. She will also be seen
racing bike time trials, cyclo-cross, road and cross country running
and swimming.
Abbie raced for 53-12 in 2006 using a Bianchi 928L Record race
bike, with a few specific tweaks by our excellent workshop staff.
She races in a Snugg Slipstream custom made wetsuit and runs in
shoes by Asics and Mizuno.
Abbie will be joined on the 53-12 Elite racing team by Matt Slator.
Matt is a huge prospect for the future, having swum for Kelly College
in the past. Just wait to see matts tremendous swim, bike and run
speed in major competitions worldwide.
