Our servicing starts at £20.00 for a basic service (gear and brake check and adjust) and we will quote you before carrying out any work. We offer fixed price servicing, with four different service levels. We are able to advise you on the best service for your bike. We have arguably the best equipped bike workshop in the area, backed up by CYTECH qualified technicians with years of valuable experience.

Velocity rims are available in a great spectrum of colours such as White, Black, Electric Blue, Pink, Gold, Red, Orange, Ti Grey etc etc...We carry the Deep V in 32 and 36 hole in 700c with a machined brake surface (non machined track version is also available), Razor, Aerohead, Dyad, VXC disc rims. Our wheel builder has 55 years wheel building experience and has built wheels for national champions. We can also build and repair wheels for both road and mtb 700c and 650c plus wheels for recumbents in various sizes. If you have any questions regarding workshop bookings or advice, please call us. We specialise in building with Velocity and Mavic rims.

We have a club bike ride on Wednesday evenings at 6pm. We cover in the region of 20 miles at an average of 18 to 20 Mph (28 to 32 Km/h). We ride as a group and welcome anyone that would like to ride in a bunch. If you would like to try a session, please pop into the shop or call us so that we know you are coming along. we operate a 'As fast as the slowest rider' policy, so Ed will always ride with you if you do struggle with the pace.

ALL bikes sold by 53-12 recieve a free first service, we operate this on a while you wait basis & are usually able to complete it in approximately 30 minutes. We suggest that this is carried out within 200 miles of purchase.
